STC Heli-Preheat Kit – Leonardo-Finmeccanica (AgustaWestland), AW119 (Koala) with PT6B-37A
Preheating is accomplished using electrical resistance heat in the form of thin pads sized and shaped to fit various parts. The pads are surface mounted with a bonding adhesive. Heated components reach an average state of thermal equilibrium in six hours. This includes engine reduction gearboxes, attached accessories, main and tail rotor gearboxes, oil and hydraulic tanks, and battery. Power is routed to the heating elements through a dedicated shore power plug, 10A circuit protection, and wiring assembly.
This preheat kit when installed will supply 802 watts with a 7.0 amp draw at 115 volts.
* DC730 bonding sealant sourced separately (12 ounces approximately).
* AVF0001 form requested for verification of purchase.
