What is in a Tanis System

THE THREE PARTS THAT COMPRISE A
TANIS PREHEAT SYSTEM

(1) THE CYLINDER HEAD HEATER

Tanis offers three unique ways to put heat on the cylinder head, where it is crucial for maximum engine protection - probe, bolt, block, or bond on pad. Probes are the original, standard element, also available in super systems.  Bolts are offered for engines with analyzers.

(2) THE OIL SUMP HEATER

Every Tanis System includes an oil sump heater as part of the system. Each heater element is designed to provide the exact amount of heat needed to heat the mass being heated. Some Continental engines will also have a case element.

(3) THE HARNESS

All harnesses are made from heavy duty, highly heat tolerant materials. Insulated wiring is covered in tough sleeving that further protects the wires. Other custom harnesses are available. To order parts, indicate engine model.
