BOLT TYPE CYLINDER PREHEATER TAS107
The TAS107 is a 40 watt heated bolt that is FAA-PMA approved to replace a valve cover or baffle mount bolt. This allows engine preheating and CHT monitors to remain completely independent when analyzers, FADEC or glass cockpit systems are installed.
The TAS107 can be used in a baffle mount, (as shown here) or replace a rocker cover screw.

BOLT TYPE CYLINDER HEATER TAS104
The TAS104 heating element is FAA-PMA approved as a replacement for the Lycoming cap screw STD 1215. It can be used on all cylinders or on its own to heat the cylinder with factory installed CHT gauge on your Lycoming engine.
Lycoming Service Instruction #1173 allows use of the cap screw to replace studs on engines made with studs. Use the torque called out in the Table of Limits for your engine when installing.
